First Week of Class Scavenger Hunt

The faculty and staff of Birmingham-Southern College are excited to welcome incoming freshmen and returning students this fall.

Kick off the start of the fall semester by joining us for a BSC Scavenger Hunt! We have a line-up of iconic BSC landmarks and a cash prize, to help set the tone for an unforgettable academic year. This curated list of landmarks promises to take students on a journey through the heart of campus, encouraging them to explore and connect while creating lasting memories.

Landmarks on the Hunt

First day of school signs

Ginkgo Mural
Treehouse
Praying mantis sculpture (hint: close to the treehouse!)

Rules

Participants must take selfies at each of the designated landmarks.
Selfies are to be posted on Instagram either as a story or a full post.
Tagging @birminghamsouthern and using the official hashtag #BSCscavengerhunt is essential to qualify.
Creativity and authenticity are encouraged, as the posts reflect the personal experiences and perspectives of the participants.

The hunt will run throughout the first week of classes, from August 23 to August 30, allowing students to balance their academic commitments with this exciting adventure.
